| I felt compelled to do a Senator & for some reason I did this one. I'm glad too, it really turned out great! I got an extra Ree-Yees in a lot so I used it. I added some paint washes to the head for more detail, though the pic doesn't show them. I used brown, green, yellow, & lavendar at various spots on the face. I painted the Malakili parts with a mix of red & brown, giving it a nice velvety look, & the boots are black. The shirts & coat are completely sculpted save for the pipe-cleaners on the wrists. It took me forever to do the furry details but it was worth it. I culd have used pipe cleaners for the trim, but I didn't like the way it looked around the wrists, since I couldn't paint it to my satisfaction. The undershirt (or scarf thingy) is painted to match the pants, the button shirt is black with gold buttons, & the coat is dark gray with a slight brown drybrushing. |
