Photobucket Materials Needed:
Naboo Obi-Wan Kenobi - head, body, arms, legs
Owen Lars - cloak
random blade and GI Joe weapon - lightsaber
Paints - black, dark grey, green, brown, silver
I was gonna wait for the Jedi Armor Obi-Wan before I did this one, but I got impatient. I used Obi-Wan's skirt for another custom (I forget which), so I had his whole body left over. I first cut off the braid and ponytail (as always) and also trimmed down his hair some. I then cut off the tab on the pelvis that kept the skirt in place and superglued the torso around it (I trimmed down the hole on the bottom torso too so the pelvis peg cuould fit inside and twist around). I also cut off the top ring off his boots to make him shorter (Corran's pretty short). I painted the boots, sash, and inner 2 tunics black and the outer tunic and pants dark grey. I didn't put a skirt on him because I wanted his outfit to look like a cross between Jedi robes and a flightsuit; I still think the Jedi Armor Kenobi would also be a good one to use for this. I then painted the hair brown, and added the beard and bangs. I painted the sleeves and cloak a mix of dark grey and green -- I tried a regular green first but it didn't look good, especially with tan tunics. I like this color scheme much better. For the finishing touch, I repainted a saber blade silver and superglued it to a GI Joe weapon handle to make it look like a speederbike's throttle assembly, which is what Corran constructed his saber out of.
