| I've been wanting to do a Fel for a long time, but I don't have a TIE pilot. So instead, I made this figure -- what Fel may have looked like in the Hand of Thrawn duology. First (as usual) pop the heads. Then, paint a red stripe down the seam in Garindan's shirt and along his left sleeve and pants leg. Now, trim down the hair on Ric and test the fit in the neck hole (mine was a little tight -- I think I trimmed his neck peg some). Repaint his hair black and add some grey streaks. Also, paint on a black goatee with grey streaks. Now for the eyepatch. I used a short length of thread and a shaving from another custom. I repainted the shaving black and glued to thread. It fits snugly but is also removeable! Finally, add a random gun. |
