Photobucket Materials Needed:
Darth Maul - lightsaber (half)
Sith Accessory Set - base and clear stand
Rorworr (RPG exclusive) - everything else
Paints - black, bronze, green, silver, yellow, grey
When I first saw the Rorworr pack-in with the "Invasion of Theed" RPG game, I knew he would be my Lowbacca. The hardest part of this is the first step (if, like me, you don't have a Dremel): cut off the bandolier and satchel (save the satchel for another custom). Once that's done, paint a black stripe from just over his left eye to the small of his back. Take half of a Maul saber and repaint the blade bronze (I mixed brown, orange, and silver). Now take the probe droid from the Sith Acc. Set and cut the droid off of it. Repaint the base green. Make a small Sculpey oval for M-TD (miniature translator droid). Paint it silver with yellow photoreceptors and grey speaker grill. Now, take a length of white pipe-cleaner and wrap it around his waist (I looped it over his shoulder for more support as well as to hide the scars from his bandolier). On the back of M-TD, superglue a tiny curve of thin wire and carve a small notch in the bottom of him. The wire will let him hang from the fiber belt, and the notch will allow him to rest on top of the base to simulate hovering on microrepulsorjets. Photobucket
