| I think I say this a little too often, but I've been wanting to do this one forever! :) I finally got around to buying the German soldier figure from Toys'R'Us (at the full $6 price-point! The things I do for this hobby ;). I modified the hat with sculpey to make it look more like the Imperial cap. Then I cut off the extra rank badges (this is Pellaeon circa the Thrawn Trilogy). I added the skirt with sculpey -- it cuts down the articulation of the figure, but really, Pellaeon didn't do much more than stand around anyway, and I think it adds to the overall look. I painted the whole outfit grey-green, though it looks a little light for my taste -- it's hard makeing a color match for those Imperial uniforms. |  |
