Strange how sometimes you take a figure apart for other things, and somehow the pieces end up coming back together. I'm pretty sure most of the body for this one came from a Naboo Obi-Wan. I painted his robes in a similar style as his padawan, Quinlan Vos. The art in "Darkness" was, well, dark (and on a tangent, I LOVED that storyline. Very full and didn't feel rushed or pre-planned like most comics). I used Dr. Grant's head, 'cause it looked VERY old. I sculpted his forehead and hair after Dremeling off the old ones. The hair got painted grey, with a couple of washes of dark grey. Since I had an extra pair of Eeth Koth arms lying around, I figured I would use them here. The outer cloak got a dark grey-green paintjob per the comic color scheme. I alos painted the saber hilt navy blue-grey with red and silver buttons. The saber itself is a length of 1/8th inch dowel rod painted the same color as his robe. Photobucket
